Arthritis Walk.

The Arthritis Walk is the annual nationwide event sponsored by the Arthritis Foundation to raise awareness and funds to fight arthritis. Arthritis is the nation's leading cause of disability. It costs our economy approximately $125 million each year. The Arthritis Walk is an opportunity to help improve the lives of 46 million men, women, and children diagnosed with arthritis. Your company, family, or friends can form a team to participate in an Arthritis Walk in your area. The Kansas City Arthritis Walk will be held on May 19, 2007, at the Brookside Trolley Trail. There will be food, entertainment, and information for participants of all ages. You can choose to walk a 1 mile route or a 5K route (approximately 3.1 miles).
