Spring Philanthropy Event.

Kansas City area alumnae are invited to join us for our annual spring philanthropy event on Saturday, April 14. Feed The Children is a relief organization that provides food and supplies to the underprivileged. They will be makinga major food donation to Operation Breakthrough, a Kansas City-based group that assists children and families at risks. Our volunteers will help unload the delivery and distribute the offerings to local families. The current plan is to meet at Operation Breakthrough at 12:30 p.m. There will be many pallets of food to be sorted and distributed beginning promptly at 1 p.m. We will need an accurate count of volunteers, so we are urging everyone to R.S.V.P. as soon as you possibly can. We are also hoping to enjoy lunch before the event at Sol Azteca and possibly also meet somewhere for drinks or appetizers afterwards. If you would like to join us before or after the event please let us know your preference as well. Our chapter's Alumnae Network Specialist, Lisa Dutt, will also be joining us for the day to meet area chapter members and officers. This is a perfect time to find out more about what is happening in the bigger world of AOII! Please join us for this worthy event and some fun sisterhood time! Husbands, boyfriends, (older) children and significant others are welcome to tag along!
