A Note from our Alumnae Network Specialist.
Lisa Dutt is the Alumnae Network Specialist for the Greater Kansas City Alumnae Chapter. She also supports the alumnae chapters in Denver, Kearney, Lincoln, Omaha, and St. Louis. She does a great job of keeping the Chapter Presidents up to date on what is happening with her group of chapters as well as news from Alpha Omicron Pi International.
Lisa visited the St. Louis Alumnae Chapter for their Founder's Day celebration in January right in the middle of a big ice storm. She will be traveling to Denver this month for their chapter's Founder's Day.
Lisa also had some recent changes to her chapters. Melania Harris, a Phi initiate who has most recently been the president of the St. Louis alumnae chapter, has accepted a new job in Kansas City, so hopefully she'll become an active new member of our chapter! We're very excited to meet her and get her involved!
Another big piece of news is that the Topeka/Lawrence Alumnae Chapter was closed at the end of 2006. The membership had dwindled, and the women simply didn't want to continue collecting dues and completing AlphaLink reports. They are still meeting for sisterhood activities and we will extend invitations to them for our social activities as well.
