Foundation Program Services.

The Alpha Omicron Pi Foundation provides a variety of services to a lot of people and organizations. AOII's major philanthropy focus is Arthritis Research. The Foundation is committed to helping find the cause and cure for arthritis, and grants are awarded by the Foundation to qualified researchers. These grants are awarded yearly with the cooperation of the Arthritis Foundation and the Canadian Arthritis Foundation. Over $1 million has been contributed to arthritis research from the Foundation. The Foundation also partners with the American Juvenile Arthritis Organization has been established to increase awareness that "Kids Get Arthritis, Too." Grants are awarded to the AJAO's national and regional conferences and to families to attend these conferences. Gifts to the Foundation also support AOII's Diamond Jubilee Scholarships. These scholarships are awarded to undergraduate and graduate students and alumnae on an annual basis. Educational and Leadership grants are given to the Fraternity to support educational workshops, speakers, leadership development programs, the Fraternity archives/museum, and drug and alcohol education. The Ruby Fund is another program offered through the Foundation. The Ruby Fund provides confidential financial aid to sisters in need.
