Welcome to the new 'blog' for the Kansas City Alumnae of Alpha Omicron Pi! This blog has been developed to keep AOII's in our area updated on events, meetings, fundraising opportunities, and the personal lives of each other. If you received the fabulous newsletter from the KC Alumnae Chapter, you are already aware of some changes the chapter is making in an effort to recruit and retain new members. Change #1: With the assistance of alumna Gina Kellogg and her awesome company, Illustratus, the chapter was able to put out an incredibly professional looking, beautiful, full color newsletter. The newsletter will also become a quarterly mailing instead of twice per year. Change #2: Shaking up the programming of chapter meetings will hopefully allow more women to participate. Some months will still have a 'traditional' Monday night meeting, which consist of a short business meeting and a social or philanthropic activity. The other months will have a purely social event scheduled on varying days, and family members are welcome at these events. A Monday luncheon meeting will still be available each month as well. The KC Alumnae chapter has dwindled in numbers in recent years, but there is still a dedicated group of women who continue to devote time to keeping the chapter alive. We'd like to see YOU at our next event!
