Founder's Day Brunch.

Our Founder's Day brunch yesterday was a great success! About 20 women attended the brunch, which was graciously hosted again by Mary Sue Smith at her home in Mission. Everyone brought a dish to share. We enjoyed a variety of casseroles, salad, fruit, and desserts. After brunch, we gathered in the living room to hear the Founder's Day message from the Executive Board and a message from the Foundation Board about the Ruby Fund. We also had a short presentation about the Founders. The women who attended were encouraged to bring non-perishable items to donate to Operation Breakthrough's food pantry. We were able to collect a sizable amount of food for them, thanks to the wonderful women of AOII! Our next meeting will be January 22, 7 p.m., at Michele Park's home in Olathe. We will have a pampering spa evening, so plan to attend!
