Meet Becki, our President.

Becki Carl-Stutz has been the President of the alumnae chapter for the past few years. She got married and moved to Lawrence six years ago, and jumped right into an officer role, serving first as the Vice President for Programs. She was active in the Tulsa alumnae chapter prior to moving back to Kansas. Becki enjoys attending meetings to get to know other women and make new friends. Becki is a member of Phi chapter from the University of Kansas. One of her favorite college memories is a spring break road trip with two sisters to visit her parents in Michigan. The girls stopped at several AOII chapters along the way, and while visiting Kappa Kappa chapter at Ball State University, watched the Jayhawks lose to Arizona in the NCAA tournament. Becki is married to Mike, and they have a new baby Matthew, who was born in May of this year. She started a new job in October as a Campaign Coordinator for Lawrence Memorial Hospital, which is working to raise money for a hospital expansion. Becki is also very involved in the Lawrence community. She is a volunteer for Big Brothers, Big Sisters; both as a Big Sister and as a member of the Bowl For Kids' Sake committee. She was recently chosen to be a member of the Chamber of Commerce's Leadership Lawrence Class of 2007 and participates in the Chamber's Young Professional Network group. Becki is a member of Plymouth Congregational Church and is very active there as a confirmation teacher and as a sponsor for the junior and senior high youth groups. In her limited spare time, Becki enjoys watching movies, playing trivia, shopping, watching KU games, playing with Matthew, and hanging out with friends. 5 Random Facts About Becki: *I can write with my toes. *I can play the bassoon. *I have never mowed a lawn. *One of my dream jobs is to be an event planner. *I love 80's hair bands.
